Monique Johnson is an explorer and a storyteller.

Growing up on nine acres of rural mountain terrain, Monique began to explore and create stories at an early age in her very own backyard. At 10, she would ride her bike across dirt back roads in search of long-forgotten foundations of abandoned homes. She would begin an “archeological dig” and when she found an artifact, she would let her thoughts run wild with all the possibilities of what could have been. 

Even today, her most creative ideas blossom from stepping outside – literally and figuratively. Monique inspires self-discovery through exploration and a sense of adventure so that others can achieve their dreams with authenticity.

Monique started MoJo Design 16 years ago to help entrepreneurs explore and share their stories with the world. For Monique, the collaborative journey is just as important as arriving at the destination. That is why she helps her customers ‘get outside’ and take creative leaps that inspire the best brand ideas for their business. Monique’s work spans uncovering and clarifying an element of brand identity, to developing complete brand experiences from scratch.
