Join us for the Spa-Jong Day Retreat, a spa-inspired social experience curated by The Hivery that blends the rich tradition of Mahjong with modern wellness, playful luxury, and meaningful connection.

With a growing following and recognition for elevated Mahjong experiences, we introduce Spa-Jong — a thoughtfully designed retreat-style afternoon that weaves together pampering spa treatments, gentle movement, meditation, and sauna rituals with relaxed, social rounds of Mahjong.

No Mahjong experience required.
Whether you’re brand new, returning after a break, or a seasoned player, all levels are warmly welcome. Instruction and guidance will be available, and tables are intentionally designed to feel supportive, inclusive, and fun.

Throughout the retreat, guests will rotate through:

  • Gentle body movement and grounding meditation

  • Pampering mini spa treatments

  • Sauna sessions with Fjord Sauna, Sausalito

  • Relaxed rounds of Mahjong designed for connection, conversation, and play (including lessons for newbies)

It’s an invitation to slow down, indulge your senses, and experience Mahjong as a social ritual.

Dress for comfort and indulgence.
Guests are encouraged to bring a bathrobe and swimsuit to fully enjoy the sauna experience and settle into the spa-like rhythm of the day.

  • Dinna Davis, Founder of Marin Mahjong, creating joy and inclusive Mahjong community across Marin

Space is intentionally limited to preserve an intimate, retreat-level experience. Early registration is encouraged.
